Catching Mudminnows with Traps:
Any fish trap with some fish remains or dead shrimp for bait will work. Ideal locations are small creeks.
Catching Mudminnows with Cast Nets:
Mudminnows are found in tidel creek. Frequently they travel in schools of 100 individual which make them an ideal candidate for cast netting. Watch for oysters in the area to prevent damage to your cast net.

Mudminnows live their entire lives in coastal creeks around Amelia Island.
