Jacob Elleson recently submitted this impressive 35.82 inches black drum to set the species’ IGFA All-Tackle Length Fly World Record. Jacob was fishing in Tampa Bay, Florida, USA, on September 13, 2022, with guide Eric Pelno when this black drum struck his fly. After a short fight around some structure, he was able to boat this record drum. Jacob then recorded the proper measurements on his official IGFA Measuring Device before releasing the fish safely. Congratulations, Jake, on an impressive record!
